Sooooo, earlier today I was blessed enough to be treated to a dinner for the ages. A dear friend took me to one of the best steak houses in town where I found myself staring down (and eventually devouring) the king of all cows, the Megatron of meat, the rarest of all cuts of beef, the tenderloin or Chateaubriand. For starters, I personally have never even heard of this cut of beef and apparently only 2 or 3 places serve it in all of New York City. Due to its extremely high price tag and limited quantities, it is always served for two. But, since I usually have an appetite for three it I found it to be the perfect amount. It was referred to me as the Lamborghini of steak. Might sound a bit exaggerated but once you put your knife to it and slice into it you mistaken it for a stick of butter. It is ecstasy on a plate. And in the name of fitness, IT'S LOADED WITH PROTEIN! :) Definitely the highlight of my week!
