this is not another fitness blog. fitness is merely my lifestyle. it just happens to directly contribute to every bit of success i earn. this is my project. this is my life. this is the inspiration behind it.
This is MY life. I do what I want, when I want, how I want. I always did. I ALWAYS will.
There is only one true RIGHT way to do something... that's YOUR way. And that's the only way it should be done. MY success comes from me doing things exactly the way I want to. There is a certain satisfaction that comes from that. I don't take orders, I don't follow rules and I don't pay any mind to negative opinions.
Stay true to yourself and only keep the people in your life that stand behind you 100%!
OK.... so to some (or maybe even most) this is going to come off as being incredibly corny. I wanted to speak of my childhood hero... and yes he is a wrestler... and at one point he had one of the most popular names in the world, Stone Cold Steve Austin.
From the foul language, to the middle fingers, to the beer guzzling, to the not giving a shit about anyone or anything. I wanted to be just like him! His confidence and charisma was addictive to me. It was always Stone cold this and Stone Cold that. He was also a favorite in my family. My mother and father used to watch wrestling along with me just to see Stone Cold do something crazy. He was extremely entertaining and even though it was just a show, Steve was being Steve. His success was derived from his own personality. He was playing himself. I found it inspiring. He was accepted for who he was. Nothing more, nothing less. Now who wouldn't want that?
All these years later I still find myself watching videos on Youtube when he would come out and blow the top off the area and send 40,000 people into a frenzy. I always found it fascinating to watch a single man grab so much attention so effortlessly. His acceptance was apparent. His popularity was unheard of. Especially for a "wrestler". The bottom line is I found a lot of me in him. Our personalities match in many ways. I will never stop watching Stone Cold Steve Austin. Thanks for the memories.
As I'm sure everyone has realized, summer is coming. And I don't know about any of you... but I LIVE for summer. The beach, the blazing sun, the lack of clothing, those warm heavenly nights.... for me equals exactly that; HEAVEN. Certain songs are inspired by certain seasons and "Semi Charmed Kind of Life" screams summer for me. I can smell the sand and Ban de Soleil glistening all over my body while I strut down the coast line happy as can be. Summer, I'm looking forward...
